Ransom Recipe Additions
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Four salmon fillets
- 1 can of coconut milk
- 1 sliced lemon
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 2 tsp TM Spice Ransom

INSTRUCTIONS
- Melt the coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon with TM Ransom on both sides, then sear it in the coconut oil for 3 minutes. Remove to a plate.
- Add the garlic to the skillet, then cook until fragrant but not overly browned, about 1 minute.
- Slice lemons and place on the pan. Place salmon on the lemon slices
- Pour the coconut milk into the skillet, whisking it to mix in the solids, and add additional sliced lemon ( reserving couple pieces for garnish). Bring it to a low simmer.
- Sprinkle it all over with dried dill. Cook uncovered for 5-6 minutes. Serve immediately on rice , or pasta or refrigerate for use in salads.

TM BALSAMIC RANSOM DRESSING

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:

- 1/4 cup EVOO (Extra virgin olive oil)
- 1 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Dijon style mustard
- 1/2 to 1 tsp honey
- 1 med shallot minced
- 1 tsp TM Spice Ransom
- 1/4 tsp black pepper

In a small mason jar, stir together all ingredients together - shake well before using.
TM CHEDDAR RANSOM BISCUITS
INGREDIENTS REQUIRED:
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp white sugar
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 tbsp Ransom spice
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven 425 degrees F (200 degrees C)
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, sugar, Ransom spice and cream of tartar.
- Cut in butter using a pastry cutter or fork until it is the size of pees.
- Make a well in the middle of the mixture and mix the milk and cheese into the well and gently mix until a soft dough forms.
- Roll or pat out a floured surface to 3/4 inch thick. Cut into circles and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the bottoms of the biscuits are golden brown.
Prep Time: 15 min. | Cook Time: 10 min. | Total Time: 25 min.
